V-by-One® HS Guide for Camera/Sensor Applications

Introduction

As the owner of V-by-One® HS technology, THine Electronics offers dozens of V-by-One® HS products for both Camera/sensor-related applications and Display-related ones. Here is the Selection Guide for your application.

How to Find the Right THine Products

Key parameters for THine V-by-One® HS products are:

  • Serializer (V-by-One® HS Tx), De-Serializer (V-by-One® HS Rx), or Repeater/Switcher/Distributor(Replicator) (V-by-One® HS to V-by-One® HS)

  • Video port count (single or double)

    • Some double-port products support Single-in Single-out, Single-in Dual-out, Dual-in Single-out, and Dual-in Dual-out.

  • V-by-One® HS lane count (1, 2, or 4 lanes per IC)

    • V-by-One® HS has no lane count constraint. Some V-by-One® HS ICs support multiple use in parallel (e.g., 4pcs x THCV215 to support 4K 60Hz, 4 x 2 = 8 lanes)

  • Distribution or Replication mode

    • In this mode, Single-input is replicated to Double output (2 streams of the same video).
